Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable high-molecular weight aliphatic polyester carbonate, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The method for producing the aliphatic polyester carbonate comprises carrying out a reaction in the presence of a transesterification catalyst between a carbonic diester and an aliphatic polyester oligomer with OH groups on both ends derived from an aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid compound.
