Abstract

【課題】EGRパイプからの放熱性を高めることで、合成樹脂製吸気マニホルドにおけるEGRパイプ接続部分での熱的損傷を有効に防止すること。 【解決手段】EGRパイプ継手構造2は、合成樹脂製の吸気マニホルド1に設けられた挿入孔10に金属製のEGRパイプ9の先端挿入部11を挿入して接続する。先端挿入部11の外周面と挿入孔10の内周面との間に所定の内間隙12が設けられる。先端挿入部11に隣接して、吸気気マニホルド1の外側に、EGRパイプ9の外周を閉塞的に包囲する包囲チューブ13が設けられる。EGRパイプ9の外周面と包囲チューブ13の内周面との間に所定の外間隙14が設けられる。包囲チューブ13の開口周縁に、先端挿入部11が挿入孔10に挿入された状態で、取付座8の座面8aに接合されるフランジ15が一体的に設けられる。 【選択図】 図1
<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a heat damage at a connection part of an EGR pipe in a synthetic resin suction manifold by increasing heat release from the EGR pipe. <P>SOLUTION: In the EGR pipe joint structure 2, a front end insertion part 11 of a metal EGR pipe 9 is inserted in an insertion hole 10 formed on the synthetic resin suction manifold 1 to be connected thereto. A predetermined gap 12 is formed between the outer circumference of the front end insertion part 11 and the inner circumference of the insertion hole 10. At the outer side of the suction manifold 1, a surrounding tube 13 for tightly surrounding the outer circumference of the EGR pipe 9 is provided adjacent to the front end insertion part 11. At the rim of the opening of the surrounding tube 13, a flange 15 to be joined on a base surface 8a of an attaching base 8 is integrally provided in a condition that the front end insertion part 11 is inserted in the insertion hole 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
